Here in the BEN office we’ve been busy planning a week full of sun, sea and surf-related entertainment! Here’s a timetable of what we’ll be up to in the office next week:

Monday: Enjoy an ice cream during the afternoon.

Tuesday: Dig out your best ‘dame-Edna style’ sunglasses, a prize will be awarded for the best pair.

Wednesday: Speak up, we can’t hear you over those shirts…shock us all with the loudest, most outrageous Hawaiian shirt you can manage, and win a prize for the best one (if we can get close enough!) Show off your shirts whilst sipping cocktails over lunch.

Thursday: Who needs Royal Ascot – pah! Show off your sunhat, the bigger and more outrageous the better…we want to see flowers, we want to see fruit, we want to see birds of paradise! Hats will be judged and a prize awarded over lunchtime cream teas.

Friday: Mix it all up – your hat, your sunglasses, your Hawaiian shirt and, if you’re still allowed out of the house without a police escort, feel free to throw in some flip-flops and a sarong if you like. A prize for the best dressed beach bum will be awarded at the end of the day. In the meantime meet up over lunch for fish and chips on the lawn (or even on a plate if you’re lucky) and take part in some good old fashioned beach games such as boule and croquet.
